Camera Un-Woes

Yesterday, I found my good camera waiting for me on our doorstep. Newly refurbished by Nikon, it seems to be in perfect working order - they even cleaned it and upgraded the firmware. I know it was a long time coming, but I'm happy to have it back. Thanks Nikon Service.

Since I was in town for Keith's wedding, I worked from Chicago for a few days. Here's the view of Michigan Avenue, Wrigley Building, and the river from my 19th floor hotel room.

So, Jason, Sean, Tim, and I (seen here from left to right), decided to get all dressed and liquored up to go to our friend Keith Karlson's wedding in Indianapolis this past weekend. I think Sean's pictures of the evening are more interesting than mine because I wasn't really sober enough to take decent photos... and most of his shots are of me doing something stupid. Congrats to Keith and his new wife.

We got a puppy today! His name is Cisco and came from the Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid-Florida. He's eight months old and cute as hell.

Here's a terrible picture from my hotel room in Phoenix. For someone who grew up in the midwest and now lives in Florida, any little mountain gets me excited. 

There was this iron rebar pole sticking out of the middle of our backyard. I decided to chop that thing down... well cut it anyway. Always remember, safety first, that's why I'm wearing sandals.
